About Me

As well as being a wife and full time mother of two, I am involved in women's and children's ministry at Metro Community Church in Edwardsville, IL. I have a Master's degree in Early Childhood Education and taught for seven years before becoming a full time home maker. After having questions about Creation and Evolution stemming from some of the things I was teaching as a public school teacher I became interested in this topic. After reading about and researching the topic for almost six years I have more faith than ever that the Bible is true and can be totally trusted. I have a deep desire to share this life changing information with others! Ultimately this is not just about information, but about transformation. As individuals find answers, this will strengthen their faith as well as help skeptics and unbelievers see that the the Word of God, not the word of man can be trusted!

Statement of Faith
I believe that the Bible is the inerrant word of God. I believe in the Trinity, the virgin birth and resurrection of Christ. It is through His death on the cross that we're able to come into a relationship with Him and have eternal life. It is by grace, not works that we can be saved. This need for atonement is rooted in Creation. Because of the sins of the "first Adam" we are all in need of Jesus, the "last Adam" (Romans 5:12-21). Because of Evolutionary theories and ideas, many people today do not understand what sin is or why there is death and destruction in the world if there really is a loving God. I believe that having a greater understanding of a Biblical world view, rooted in the history of Genesis, can help Christians answer some of the skepticism and doubt of this generation, and therefore become better witness to an unbelieving world.
